DID YOU KNOW that the wheat we eat today in America is not the same wheat we ate 30 years ago. Therefore, the way our bodies respond to it is completely different then in the past. Why do you think it is that when an American visits Europe who is diagnosed as gluten intolerant, he is able to eat the gluten products served without ANY issue? Because in America we do something called Hybridization of wheat. It’s not technically GMO’d, but it is altered into a completely different grain by either deleting or adding genes to it. The government says it’s not GMO’d but it sure sounds like it to me!! This process has created mutant strains of gluten that cause massive inflammation in our guts (stomach and intestines). And this is one of the main reasons we have so much gluten sensitivity and celiac disease in America. And this is why when you go to Italy and are downing that gluten filled pasta, you feel fine. There is nothing in that food that is causing this massive inflammatory reaction to occur…… Scary stuff
But what’s more scary is what these mutant strains of gluten are physically doing to our guts….
These mutant strains are creating holes. Lots and lots of holes. Not in the ground. But in our guts. Our guts should never have any sort of hole in them, but thanks to the massive amount of inflammation that occurs in response to this gluten issue, our immune systems become weakened and things like bacteria and parasites can invade our systems and start to eat away at our stomach and intestinal lining!!! THIS is why all of the issues I mentioned initially in this article (inability to focus, stomach pains, bloating, anxiety, fatigue, depression etc) are occurring. Because that barrier that separates the inside of your intestines and stomach from the bloodstream is no longer intact. So toxins will float right out of your intestines, into your bloodstream, and potentially into your brain!! This is why gluten sensitivity doesn’t have to just manifest in the gut! It can show up in the form of emotional and neurological symptoms as well. Two thirds of the people who react to gluten react in the brain and NOT the gut, meaning they produce no intestinal or digestive symptoms.
